Alignment

April 25, 1994

The purification process never ceases. You must continually align yourself with My Word. You must continually make choices that line up with My Word (Deuteronomy 30:19,20). When My Word doesn’t seem clear on an issue, trust the inward witness of My Holy Spirit’s presence (John 16:13). I am in you to better you, to cause you to walk upright before Me all the days of your life (Proverbs 3:1,2). Upright, not downcast. Upright, not weighted down. Free from this world’s cares and pressures (Psalm 55:22). It is only as you spend time fellowshipping with me that this can happen (1 Corinthians 1:9). Fellowshipping means I take from you and you take from Me. We give to one another (Ephesians 4:22-24). You give Me your problems, worries, concerns, pains, sins, grief, and doubts (1 Peter 5:7). I give to you My unfailing love, My peace, My joy (Galatians 5:22,23), My healing oil, My power to endure whatever comes. I am love. Walk before Me in the land of the living. Believe My Word (1 Thessalonians 2:13). Believe what I say and act upon it as though your very life depends on it because it does. Without Me you can do nothing (John 15:5). Without Me you are only natural. I bring the super to the natural and together we can accomplish what neither of us alone can do. Trust My words and obey them. Obey My voice. Submit to Me and live. Let your spirit soar. Release yourself to My love and care and faithfulness, for I will watch over you (Genesis 28:15).

Deuteronomy 30:19,20 NLT

“Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live! 20 You can make this choice by loving the Lord your God, obeying him, and committing yourself firmly to him. He is the key to your life.

John 16:13 MSG

But when the Friend comes, the Spirit of the Truth, he will take you by the hand and guide you into all the truth there is. He won’t draw attention to himself, but will make sense out of what is about to happen and, indeed, out of all that I have done and said.

 Proverbs 3:1,2 AMPC

My son, forget not my law or teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments;2 For length of days and years of a life [worth living] and tranquility [inward and outward and continuing through old age till death], these shall they add to you.

Psalm 55:22 NLV

Give all your cares to the Lord and He will give you strength. He will never let those who are right with Him be shaken.

 1 Corinthians 1:9 AMP

God is faithful [He is reliable, trustworthy and ever true to His promise—He can be depended on], and through Him you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

 Ephesians 4:22-24 NLT

22 throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception.23 Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. 24 Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy.

1 Peter 5:7 AMP

casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully.

 Galatians 5:22,23 TPT

But the fruit produced by the Holy Spirit within you is divine love in all its varied expressions:

joy that overflows,

peace that subdues,

patience that endures,

kindness in action,

a life full of virtue,

faith that prevails,

gentleness of heart, and

strength of spirit.

 1 Thessalonians 2:13 TLB

And we will never stop thanking God for this: that when we preached to you, you didn’t think of the words we spoke as being just our own, but you accepted what we said as the very Word of God—which, of course, it was—and it changed your lives when you believed it.

 John 15:5 NLT

“Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.

 Genesis 28:15 CEV

Wherever you go, I will watch over you, then later I will bring you back to this land. I won't leave you—I will do all I have promised.
