Forging Your Path
Don’t try and make a place for yourself in the world. Let Me do that for you. Let Me open up the pathways of your life before you. Don’t try to plan your life; don’t you try to forge a path for yourself. Just stay right next to Me. I’ll clear the way for your life. It will be good. Remember, I am a good God, and I only have good gifts to give to My children (James 1:17). Many of My gifts simply aren’t perceived as good because it’s not always what you would want at that moment.
Just relax in Me. Pure childlike abandonment - even children don’t always get to experience that in life. There is anxiety even in children’s faces. Trust. You can trust Me and know that I will never fail you; I’ll never forsake you; I will never abandon you (Hebrews 13:5). People will. Never expect of people what you can only expect from Me. That will spare much heartache and disappointment in life. If you look to Me to meet all your needs – spirit, soul, and body – then you won’t be disappointed with people. Disappointment with people comes from unfulfilled desires and expectations. If you take all that expectation and put it on Me, then there’s not that weight on others that they aren’t able to carry anyway. Look to Me to meet all of your needs. Don’t put that weight on any other person. Then you can just enjoy people and give to them, not only because you have something from Me to give, but also because you aren’t looking for something in return. Disappointment with people comes when they don’t deliver something you expected them to, when they don’t do something for you that you expected from them. So look to Me. I’ll not fail you (Deuteronomy 31:8).
People do think I’ve failed them. That’s because of many reasons. Some just don’t know My nature. The process of growth and change and trust in Me requires much time. Look at your own life. Look how long it has taken you to learn to trust Me.
I need to teach you about people as that is who the kingdom of heaven is for. It’s not about Me, God, having My way and setting up My rule. No, it’s about loving men’s hearts and souls and reestablishing relationship to man. Remember, I do get lonely without fellowship. I long to restore men’s hearts and souls to fellowship with Me. I want people who would willingly draw aside to spend time with me. What a joy fills My soul when someone chooses to spend time with me rather than the distractions and amusements and progress of the world (1 John 2:15,16; Romans 12:1,2). As you draw aside for those times with Me, I will open the doors of your life’s work, purpose, goals, and a beauty that you couldn’t imagine possible on this earth.
Your spirit can be in direct contact with heaven through the ministry of Jesus and My Holy Spirit. If it weren’t for Jesus’ death, none of this would be possible. Because of Jesus’ willing sacrifice of His life, you can live in contact with the God of this universe. Doesn’t that blow your mind? Doesn’t that stir your soul? Let it. Let it draw you to Me for those great times of intimate fellowship. I’m not locked up in a book. I’m there on the earth in the presence of My Holy Spirit. He will manifest Me to you; God revealed to man. Heaven and earth come together in the soul and spirit of man. It will do your body good too.
Let Me in to all of your life. I want to reach in to every area of your soul and restore it. What does that mean? It means to put your soul in a place of perfect peace, tranquility, and quietness; not hurried, pushed, driven, worried, or distracted; not grieving, saddened, lonely, weary or downtrodden; not abandoned and empty, and not full of weights and cares. It is a place of perfect peace, only because it is filled with My presence by My Holy Spirit’s residence there. It’s not filled with the devil’s furniture either. My furniture is so different than his. My furniture is peace, joy, love, patience – the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22,23). Mine provides for a place of peace, quiet, and rest – rest for your souls (Matthew 11:28-30). You want to stay in a place filled with peace and calmness so you can rest. There is no rest with satan’s furniture in your soul. His furniture is hard. It’s sharp. It’s loud and threatening. It causes you to fear, so opposite of My peace.
Look into your soul. What do you find? Peace and rest, or fear and turbulence? Even a small amount of unrest is something that needs attention. Get sensitive to your soul. Not so much to your emotions, but motivations. What motivated that action? Was it trust and love, or fear and mistrust? Do you have to take care of yourself because no one else will, or do you know that the good Shepherd (John 10:11) is in charge of your soul? Peace and rest, or turbulence, fear and anxiety. Look within, and if it’s not from Me, then cast it out. Look who comes knocking at the door of your mind. If that thought brings peace, let it in. Dwell on it. If it brings hope, joy, shouts and songs of deliverance and protection, let it in. If, on the other hand, that thought brings fear, worry, anxiety, or the desire for selfish gain, drop it. Just drop it. Turn to Me (Philippians 4:6-8). Reach out to Me, and I will fill your soul with My good thoughts. You must empty out the devil’s garbage in order for My Holy Spirit’s presence to abide in your soul. You must make room for Him. Please don’t reject this message, as it is the beginning of life in the spirit. After the rebirth of your spirit, this is where life in the spirit begins, in the transformation of your soul for a dwelling place, a habitation, for My precious Holy Spirit, My abiding presence in the earth.
James 1:17 Message
So, my very dear friends, don’t get thrown off course. Every desirable and beneficial gift comes out of heaven. The gifts are rivers of light cascading down from the Father of Light. There is nothing deceitful in God, nothing two-faced, nothing fickle.
Hebrews 13:5 Message
Don’t be obsessed with getting more material things. Be relaxed with what you have. Since God assured us, “I’ll never let you down, never walk off and leave you,” we can boldly quote, God is there, ready to help; I’m fearless no matter what. Who or what can get to me?
Deuteronomy 31:8 Message
Then Moses summoned Joshua. He said to him with all Israel watching, “Be strong. Take courage. You will enter the land with this people, this land that God promised their ancestors that he’d give them. You will make them the proud possessors of it. God is striding ahead of you. He’s right there with you. He won’t let you down; he won’t leave you. Don’t be intimidated. Don’t worry.”
1 John 2:15,16 Message
Don’t love the world’s ways. Don’t love the world’s goods. Love of the world squeezes out love for the Father. Practically everything that goes on in the world—wanting your own way, wanting everything for yourself, wanting to appear important—has nothing to do with the Father. It just isolates you from him. The world and all its wanting, wanting, wanting is on the way out—but whoever does what God wants is set for eternity.
Romans 12:1,2 Message
So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.
Galatians 5:22,23 TPT
But the fruit produced by the Holy Spirit within you is divine love in all its varied expressions: joy that overflows, peace that subdues, patience that endures, kindness in action, a life full of virtue, faith that prevails, gentleness of heart, and strength of spirit. Never set the law above these qualities, for they are meant to be limitless.
Matthew 11:28-30 Voice
28 Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Put My yoke upon your shoulders—it might appear heavy at first, but it is perfectly fitted to your curves. Learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble of heart. When you are yoked to Me, your weary souls will find rest. 30 For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.
John 10:11 Message
“I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd puts the sheep before himself, sacrifices himself if necessary. A hired man is not a real shepherd. The sheep mean nothing to him. He sees a wolf come and runs for it, leaving the sheep to be ravaged and scattered by the wolf. He’s only in it for the money. The sheep don’t matter to him.
Philippians 4:6,7 Message
Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.
