There is Always More

Your heart is so hungry to know Me. I am here and available. I am always waiting for those who cry out to Me, for those whose souls long for My presence (Psalm 42:2). Get truly hungry for Me. I come to the hungry soul, to the needy soul who cries out to Me (Jeremiah 29:13). The distracted soul, driven by the cares and concerns of this world, it’s hard for them to hear from Me. Oh, hunger and thirst for the living God and you will come in vital, living contact with Him.

How do you know if you’ve met with God or I have revealed Myself to you? There will be a change in your soul. An encounter with Me will produce a corresponding action in your soul. What does that mean? There will be either something in your soul that you will be aware of that you need to get rid of, or I will put something of Myself into your soul (Ephesians 4:22-24). That’s it. It’s that simple, but it’s a process that must happen repeatedly over and over and over and over.

Abiding in Me (John 15:4-8) is only words unless you are willing to make room in your soul for Me, emptying your soul of all that does not belong to Me. This is the place of the cross - laying down your life and all of the distractions of the world: the cares, the wounds, rejections, and all the devil’s garbage. You will be blessed out of your socks as you see the changes begin to take place in your life, for you can’t abide in the presence of God and remain the same. No, no, no. You will become conformed to whatever you spend your time gazing at and reflecting upon.

Blessed are those that hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled (Matthew5:6). That is a promise from Me and comes with a condition for you. As you hunger and pursue Me, you will be filled. I come to fill the empty, the lonely, those who are desirous of more of Me: rich or poor, healthy or sick, surrounded by good people or all alone. I come to those who hunger for Me.

There is always more. You can never exhaust the depths of My love (Ephesians 3:17-19) or knowledge or revelations. I am limitless. Be ready to expand, not in your “to do” list, but in your life. Expand to make more room in your thought life for Me. The eye gate and ear gate – be selective in what you hear and see. Let it be more of My words spoken through My Word or others. Enjoy more of my beauty with your eyes. Guard your heart and thoughts (Proverbs 4:23,24) for it is there that words begin. Speak words of life. When you speak, picture what your words are creating. Are they life-giving words or withering words? Picture what plant your words, like seeds, will grow.

Slow down enough to notice what you are seeing, hearing and speaking. Be aware in the moments.

 Psalm 42:2 NCB

As a deer longs for running streams, so my soul longs for you, O God.

Jeremiah 29:13 HCSB

You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.

Ephesians 4:22-24 MSG

everything—and I do mean everything—connected with that old way of life has to go. It’s rotten through and through. Get rid of it! And then take on an entirely new way of life—a God-fashioned life, a life renewed from the inside and working itself into your conduct as God accurately reproduces his character in you.

 John 15:4-7 Voice

Abide in Me, and I will abide in you. A branch cannot bear fruit if it is disconnected from the vine, and neither will you if you are not connected to Me.I am the vine, and you are the branches. If you abide in Me and I in you, you will bear great fruit. Without Me, you will accomplish nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is like a branch that is tossed out and shrivels up and is later gathered to be tossed into the fire to burn.  If you abide in Me and My voice abides in you, anything you ask will come to pass for you.

Matthew 5:6 Voice

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness—they will be filled.

Ephesians 3:17-19 TLB

17 And I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your hearts, living within you as you trust in him. May your roots go down deep into the soil of God’s marvelous love; 18-19 and may you be able to feel and understand, as all God’s children should, how long, how wide, how deep, and how high his love really is; and to experience this love for yourselves, though it is so great that you will never see the end of it or fully know or understand it. And so at last you will be filled up with God himself.

Proverbs 4:23,24 AMPC

23 Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life.24 Put away from you false and dishonest speech, and willful and contrary talk put far from you.
