It’s Worth ALL the Effort
Each summer our family, including the grandchildren carried on our backs or walking on their own, climbs one of New England’s smaller mountains. Those of us who have already been to the summit encourage the weary ones along the way, not only with snacks and rest times, but with the motivating words, “it will be worth it all when you get to the top”. Motivation to persevere is needed at those times of weariness. Those who have persevered to the top before know the joy that is awaiting at the summit.
At times we all need a few encouraging words to keep us motivated and continue on. I hope this encourages you to keep on keeping on today.

Forging Your Path
This journal entry, from October 1995, is about your pathway in life. Am I forcing my way through, or am I resting in God and letting him clear the way? How do I become less self-reliant and more trusting in God?

Lighten your load
This is an old journal entry from 2015 and is part of my Words from God. I hope it is encouraging to you as it has been to me.
