Joy

Joy

December 12, 1994

It is a time of joy for the body of Christ, only many don’t know that. Those in the secret place do, but many don’t know how to enter My joy. They are surviving, holding on to Jesus. I want to fill them with joy because in My presence there is fullness of joy, at My right hand there are pleasures forevermore (Psalm 16:11). Many are clinging to Me and My name with one hand and holding their problems and concerns with the other. I am fullness of joy. They need to hold out open arms to Me and I will fill them with the joy of the Lord (Nehemiah 8:10), with the peace that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7), with the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:39,39), and with the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22,23). My bucket of good things is overflowing, longing to be tipped upon My children. I am a good, kind, merciful, loving heavenly Father who only, only wants good things for His children. I do not send evil, neither will I test or tempt with evil (James 1:13-15). I am love and there is no fear in love (1 John 4:18). Recognize who I am.

 Psalm 16:11 ESV

You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

 Nehemiah 8:10 NLT

And Nehemiah continued, “Go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks, and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!”

 Philippians 4:7 RSV

And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

 Philippians 4:6-7 MSG

Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.

 Romans 8:38,39 (Phillips)

I have become absolutely convinced that neither death nor life, neither messenger of Heaven nor monarch of earth, neither what happens today nor what may happen tomorrow, neither a power from on high nor a power from below, nor anything else in God’s whole world has any power to separate us from the love of God in Jesus Christ our Lord!

 Galatians 5:22,23 TPT

But the fruit produced by the Holy Spirit within you is divine love in all its varied expressions: joy that overflows, peace that subdues, patience that endures, kindness in action, a life full of virtue, faith that prevails, gentleness of heart, and strength of spirit. Never set the law above these qualities, for they are meant to be limitless.

 James 1:13-17 MSG

Don’t let anyone under pressure to give in to evil say, “God is trying to trip me up.” God is impervious to evil, and puts evil in no one’s way. The temptation to give in to evil comes from us and only us. We have no one to blame but the leering, seducing flare-up of our own lust. Lust gets pregnant, and has a baby: sin! Sin grows up to adulthood, and becomes a real killer.  So, my very dear friends, don’t get thrown off course. Every desirable and beneficial gift comes out of heaven. The gifts are rivers of light cascading down from the Father of Light. There is nothing deceitful in God, nothing two-faced, nothing fickle.

More Joy

 December 14, 1994

My people need joy, for a time is coming when the force of joy will be what carries them through the darkness. Not happiness based on circumstances, but the force of joy, a fruit of the Spirit, born out of hours spent in the Word and in communion with Me. The force of joy - begin to let it loose in your life even now. When Satan whispers his lies, don’t buy into them. Find a promise in My Word from Me concerning that situation, and then get downright joyful in Me. Not some half-hearted attempt at being joyful, but outright laughter and praise in My presence.

There is no circumstance on the earth that is not subject to change. I AM and I AM capable of bringing change into any situation, any circumstance that you may encounter (Mark 9:23). Don’t fall under the weight of dismay (Deuteronomy 31:8). Rise above those circumstances with joy. Let the joy of the Lord be your strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Where does the strength and joy come from? It comes from your belief in My Word and its promises and My name.

Rejoice. Take delight in Me. Let loose and sing (Psalm 59:17;  98:4) and stop being morbid in My presence. Yes, I feel sorry for some situations, but it is faith that changes the circumstances of your life to line up with My Word. Rejoice! Dance! Leap! Shout!  Pretend you’re at a football game and your absolute favorite team is winning. Am I not worthy of your praise?  Let it loose. Let it flow and watch and see the salvation and deliverance of the Lord. I am the Lord and I do not change. Read the Word. Revere My name and praise me wholeheartedly, for I will not be mocked. That which a man sows, he will also reap (Galatians 6:7). Sow joy and not gloom. Sow faith and reap prosperity in the barren areas of your life. Sow love and joy and peace, and reap an abundance of My precious Holy Spirit into every facet of your life. Rejoice! Rejoice! Rejoice (Philippians 4:4)!

Mark 9:23 TPT

Jesus said to him, “What do you mean ‘if’? If you are able to believe, all things are possible to the believer.”

 Deuteronomy 31:8 AMP

It is the Lord who goes before you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or abandon you. Do not fear or be dismayed.

 Psalm 59:17 TPT

O my strength, I sing with joy your praises.

O my stronghold, I sing with joy your song!

O my Savior, I sing with joy the lyrics of your faithful love for me!

 Psalm 98:4 Voice

Raise your voices; make a beautiful noise to the Eternal, all the earth.
Let your joy explode into song and praise.

 Galatians 6:7 KJV

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

 Philippians 4:4 Voice

Most of all, friends, always rejoice in the Lord! I never tire of saying it: Rejoice!
